Website Content Awareness Day

Recognition at last

Well I guess if no one else will give us a day of recognition it's OK to create one ourselves.

A group of web content providers led by Dina Giolotti are putting together a day of celebration for quality in Website content.

Now there's an idea I can support.  For years wesite budgets have had line items for design and programming but not for content.  Yet content is the number one reason people go to a site and it's a major factor in  your search results.

We have proven the power of good content time and again. Content is what tells your story .  It let's the search engiens know your page is relevant, it draws the right audince to your site and it converts them

Every time we do a web audit we see  content that was not strategized and crafted to meet user's need and the business goals.

And we see the results when it is changed.
