Internet Marketing Strategy A Money Maker For Non Profits

Online giving, not even counted on in the past, has now become a line item in many organizations' budgets.

Internet fundraising is on the rise, says The Writer's Life.

"Previously, internet appeals generated only 14 cents of every $100 given. Recent surges noted by The Chronicle of Philanthropy showed giving doubled at 46 of the charities they studied. Another 36 chalked up gains of more than 50% and at just the 157 nonprofit groups that provided data, the total topped $100 million in donations!"

Online giving has now become a line item in many organizations' budgets.

MuttShack, a non profit animal rescue outfit working in the New Orleans Area, was struggling to continue their work after Katrina. They were advised to revamp their site, move the 'donate now' button to the upper left corner of the site under the logo and launch a blog about the animal rescues.  Money started to flow in.

Developing an Internet marketing strategy for online giving can pay big dividends for non profits.
