Search Engine Strategies Chicago

SES chicago 2007

Brrr!  I am off to Chicago in the morning to speak at SES.  Temperatures below freezing and snow already on the ground.  For a little African lizard like me used to blazing heat it's way too cold.  I bought myself some thermal underwear and pulled out my down parka and off I go.

I am looking forward ot hearing Seth Godin speak about his new book Meatball Sundaes and the 14 trends that are changing the way we do business. My panel is a new one this year - meet the bloggers who can  make your cash register ring. A hot topic.

I just completed the PRoactive Report on Monitoring the Online Conversation so it's very timely.

Other sessions I plan to attend and blog baout

With Google Universal pulling in images, news, audio and video these are the must attend sessions.  I will cover them this week, so keep reading.

Article Submission

Another tool for public relations and name recognition

Hello Sally. Great site. Lots of enlightening material here.
I'd like to throw in my two cents on the topic of PR Strategies.

Good, fresh original content is a very beneficial way to promote and receive name recognition. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the list of strategies to be used. Could it be that junk content has all but completely permeated the Internet?

James Brausch, who suggested I come to this site for insightful information, has a greatproduct called ArtemusPro useful for creating unique articles and making submissions to proprietary publishers.

My philosophy when doing a PR campaign--use all the strategies available to you, including well written articles.
