Eye Tracking Helps Content Strategy

Are your visitors seeing what you want them to see?

The Marketing Sherpa report on placement of web content includes another EyeTools map for a landing page.

The red areas were seen by 100% of the visitors and green areas by 50%.  Dark Blue were not seen by anyone.

This is a landing page for a webinar - and though traditonally most visitors go left to right and diagonally down the page, there is an image of the speaker on the right which attracted attention.

Using tools like this can assist in tweaking content placement to get better conversion rates.
