I absolutely agree that content is key.However I believe that generating backlinks from relevant sites is also crucial.

As Stephanie said, the anchor tags in your backlinks can greatly contribute to your Search engine ranking.

Currently, there is a lot of sceptisism about the relevance of metatags but the title tags and heading tags seem to still play a role
