Microsoft Shows Support for RSS

Adoption of RSS feed expected to be mainstream by 2006

Microsoft's news that they will be building support for RSS into Longhorn, the next release of the Windows operating system due in late 2006, and the next version of Internet Explorer was all the buzz at Gnomedex this week.

This is pretty much one of the most important RSS developments of 2005, finally paving the way for mass RSS adoption says Rok Hrastnik of Marketing Studies

Now is the time to  get your marketing team together and think about an RSS content strategy. 

RSS is a fantastic vehicle - but it is a vehicle for the content.  Without a sound content strategy of how you can make the most of this leap in RSS adoption, RSS is not going to do much for your internet marketing.
